HISTORY...
Lakeview was founded in the early 1950's by Curtis, Norma Mae and Curtis
William Jr. Lakeview farms was developed primarily as a commercial
cow/calf operation until the introduction of Limousin cattle into the United
Stares in the mid 1960's. In the late 1960's they purchased their first
Limousin bull. Now, thirty years later, the herd has grown to over 400
Limousin and Commercial Crossbred cows. Lakeview is comprised of
approximately 2500 acres and is located in north Alabama, near the city of Arab.
Curtis Jr. and wife Laura, their 4 children and their spouses are currently
managing Lakeview Farms.
